Candidates and catechumens participating in the adult initiation processes in the Diocese of Rochester gathered at Sacred Heart Cathedral Feb. 26 for the Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion. Bishop Salvatore R. Matano celebrated the rite, during which catechumens signed their names in the Book of the Elect and candidates were invited to stand before Bishop Matano.
