Catholic Courier, Rochester Diocese team up for cooking series
Young adults are invited to gather in faith and cook together during the Diocese of Rochester’s Lenten Theology on Tapas virtual cooking series.
The two-part series will take place at 7 p.m. March 4 and 18. On March 4, participants will learn how to make meatless dishes, and on March 18, they will learn how to make recipes to celebrate the feast days of St. Patrick and St. Joseph.
The series will be led by Mark Capellazzi, project coordinator for youth and young-adult ministry, who has a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts. Members of the Catholic Courier staff will be on hand to cook with Capellazzi and to livestream each installment.
Interested young adults are asked to register in advance so they can receive the recipes ahead of time, as well as the access information for Zoom. Young adults do not have to cook along to participate and are welcome to join in to watch the cooking and connect with other young adults.
People of all ages are welcome to view the livestream of the Theology on Tapas series on the Catholic Courier’s YouTube channel.
