All are invited to Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester, from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, for a silent prayer vigil to pray for a greater awareness of the dignity of human life in our society today.
The U.S. bishops have designated Jan. 22, the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion in the United States, as a day of prayer and penance in reparation for sins committed against human life.
