The Cathedral Community, which comprises Sacred Heart Cathedral, Holy Rosary and Most Precious Blood churches, will host its Summerfest ’06 at Sacred Heart, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester, on Saturday, June 24.
The event begins with an outdoor Mass at 4 p.m., followed by a chicken barbecue as well as entertainment by The Dady Brothers, an Irish/folk duo, and the Urban Steel Drum Band from Marshall High School. The event also will feature a raffle for a $2,000 top prize and children’s games.
Tickets for the dinner are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Dinner tickets must be purchased by June 21. For information, call the Cathedral Community Office at 585/254-3221.
