Two Ithaca parishes are teaming up to present teens and young-hearted adults a night of worship, fellowship, music and fun.
Popular national Catholic contemporary recording artists Audrey Assad and Ike Ndolo, as well as Catholic evangelist Ennie Hickman, are coming to town. They will appear Monday, Sept. 19, as part of their "We Are The Beggars" tour.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 302 St. Catherine’s Circle. The event is being sponsored by St. Catherine Parish in conjunction with the youth and family ministry of Immaculate Conception Parish.
Advance tickets are available at Immaculate Conception Church, 113 N. Geneva St.; Immaculate Conception Inspirational Gift Shop, 107 W. Seneca St.; and St. Catherine of Siena’s parish office.

Audrey Assad converted to Catholicism in 2007. Her debut album, The House You’re Building, was released through Sparrow Records in July 2010. It went on to be named Christian Album of 2010 on Amazon.com and the Christian Breakthrough Album of the Year on iTunes. The album rose to No. 12 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart and No. 6 on its Heatseekers chart.
Ike Ndolo currently serves as assistant music director at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Tempe, Ariz. He performs across the country and has done missionary work from Mexico to China. His debut album, We Are the Beggars, released in 2009 through the SpiritandSong.com label, was a top-five hit on iTunes’ Christian music chart.
Ennie Hickman is a domestic missionary who has taught and evangelized for the past 12 years. He is director of Adore Ministries in Houston, Texas. Hickman has spoken to more than 100,000 people worldwide at retreats, training sessions and conferences. His many high-profile speaking engagements have included appearances at Steubenville Youth Conferences as well as in Kenya, Slovakia, Germany and Haiti.
