Catholic Charities of Steuben has announced the recipients of its 2020 annual awards, which recognize individuals or organizations in Steuben County for outstanding commitment to the agency, its mission and its service priorities.
The highest community honor, the Friends of Catholic Charities Award, was presented to Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
Additional award and their recipients were: William and Dorothy Belknap Award, Tina Broderick; Barbara Fairbanks Award, Dr. Laura DeMarco; Works of Love Award, Daisy Troop No. 60344; Spirit of Turning Point Award, St. Thomas Episcopal Church; Andy Mazzella Compassion Award, Father Lewis Brown (posthumous); and Golden Shoe Award, Centenary United Methodist Church.
Honorees were noted during a virtual awards ceremony that took place Oct. 27.
