Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes will honor six people with its Sharing the Light Award at a June 21 dinner.
Each year the agency presents the award to people who have bettered their communities and the region as a whole. Honorees do not have to be Catholic. The recipients of this year’s awards are Helen Delaney, Elizabeth “Beth” Henderson, Joseph Mull, Andrew Tyman, Katharine S. Waye and Ellen T. Wayne.
The 26th-annual awards dinner will take place June 21 in the Vandervort Room in the Scandling Center at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and live and silent auctions, followed by dinner at 6 p.m.
