Catholic Charities of the Southern Tier invites the public to attend its Summer 2006 Justice and Peace Program. It will take place Wednesday, July 19, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Catholic Charities office, 215 E. Church St., Elmira.
The event will begin with dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a guest presentation, “Poetry To Refresh Us For The Long Haul,” by Peggy Rosenthal. The Rochester resident is well-known for her use of literature, and poetry in particular, as a spiritual resource.
