Catholic health foundation to host Rochester health discussion

The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation is set to host a virtual discussion Sept. 21 about the health and community well-being of the greater Rochester area.

The three guest panelists for “Community Healthcare Conversations: Building Healthier Communities in the Greater Rochester Area” represent organizations that have received grants from the foundation: Angelica Perez-Delgado, president and CEO of Ibero-American Action League; Sherita Bullock, executive director of Healthy Baby Network; and Carla Palumbo, president and CEO of the Legal Aid Society of Rochester.

The interactive discussion, which will be led by Rick Barnes, the foundation’s community relations director, is free and will begin at 1 p.m. via Zoom. For more information or to RSVP, visit https://cabrinihealth.org/mchf-community-healthcare-conversations-greater-rochester-area.

The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation provides grants to organizations that promote the health and well-being of New York state residents. The state’s Catholic bishops formed the foundation in 2018 after selling Fidelis Care, a nonprofit health insurer the bishops had founded in 1993 to increase health care access for the state’s poor.
