Scott Alexander, director of the Catholic-Muslim Studies Program at Chicago’s Catholic Theological Union/Bernardin Center, will speak on “Waging the Greater Jihad: Cross-cultural living in the age of conflict,” Friday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the Islamic Center of Rochester, 727 Westfall Road, Brighton.
Alexander will also lead a follow-up workshop from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. on March 18 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester.
Both events are free and open to the public.
The event is being cosponsored by the Commission on Christian Muslim Relations and the Muslim-Catholic Alliance.
