June 26 was Catholic Schools Night at Frontier Field, and students, families and staff from several diocesan schools turned out to celebrate Catholic education and root on the Rochester Red Wings. Students showed their school spirit with school shirts and colorful pennants, while volunteers took to the stadium’s concourse to offer fans information on local schools. Red Wings’ mascot Spikes even got in on the fun, donning a plaid uniform in honor of the uniform dress code observed at many schools.
