As part of the National Eucharist Revival, national Catholic speaker and author Vinny Flynn will be offering a talk on the Eucharist and its healing power. The Sept. 10 talk, titled Hem of the Garment, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Joseph Church — St. Marianne Cope Parish, 6105 Rush-Lima Road, in Rush.

Following Flynn’s presentation, there will be a procession of the Blessed Sacrament.

The gathering is free, but registration is required due to limited seating. Those interested in attending can register by calling 585-752-3294 or by filling out the registration form at http://vinnyevent.wixsite.com/registration. All are welcome to attend.

The three-year National Eucharistic Revival, which opened June 19, was called by the bishops of the United States with the intention of renewing Catholics’ belief in and devotion to the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. The revival will conclude in July 2024 with a National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis.
