Cemeteries will host luminary events Nov. 3 and Dec. 1

The public is invited to attend a Night of Light Luminaries Remembrance on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave., Rochester, and Saturday, Dec. 1, at Ascension Garden, 1900 Pinnacle Road, Henrietta.

At both events, which will take place at 5:30 p.m., the lives of loved ones will be celebrated by the lighting of thousands of luminaries.

On Nov. 3, a special blessing will be offered by Bishop Salvatore R. Matano and the Bishop Kearney High School choir will be performing a holiday concert. On Dec. 1, there will be a special blessing offered by Father Peter Bayer. Also included will be a holiday concert by the choir from Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women.
