The St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Joseph Church, Wayland, is requesting donations to help folks in need during the holiday season.
Society members assist people with financial difficulties in such areas as cash, food vouchers and clothing. The society does not rely on government aid and instead counts on parishioners, local businesses and others for support. However, funds are currently running low.
