Students from Nancy Wilson’s first-grade class at Christ the King School in Irondequoit were at St. Ann’s Community May 4 to visit with residents of the senior care facility and take part in a May crowning celebration at St. Ann’s Chapel. The children handed out flowers and sang and danced for residents during the ceremony, which culminated with two students placing a crown of flowers on a statue of Mary near the chapel’s altar.
