St. Pius Tenth Church in Chili is set to host two special fundraising events in October featuring Father Leo Patalinghug of Plating Grace, a family-focused ministry that combines cooking, faith and humor.
Plating Grace “seeks to bring about a future of stronger families, closer relationships, and a deeper understanding of Jesus Christ as food for our body, mind and soul,” Peter Seidenberg, coordinator of the event and a member of the St. Pius X Knights of Columbus Council 17086, said in a Sept. 9 press release.
The events are set to take place on the following dates with the following themes:
Couples Night Out Oct. 23 from 6 to 10 p.m.
This event will feature a cooking demonstration as well as talk given by Father Patalinghug, hors d’oeuvres and a silent action with proceeds benefiting St. Pius.
Fundraising Dinner Oct. 24 from 6 to 10 p.m.
This event will feature a three-course dinner prepared by Father Patalinghug and his team, a cooking demonstration, a talk by Father Patalinghug and a silent auction benefiting St. Pius.
