Church sets up at flea market

Holy Cross Church set up an information booth on July 9 at the Dryden Town Historical Society’s 2nd Annual Antiques and Flea Market.  The theme for the booth was “Come Home” and it included religious items to give away. Father Malachy Nwosu, staff and volunteers staffed the booth.  Several people who were former Catholics stopped by and were interested in taking rosaries and other items.  One man from Belgium commented that in the old city of Antwerp, Belgium, there is a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary on every street corner.
