A free Thanksgiving dinner is being offered to all residents in the Newark Valley area of Tioga County, particularly those with limited financial means.
The annual dinner will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 32 S. Main St., Newark Valley. Deliveries are available as well. The event is cosponsored by St. John the Evangelist Parish and other local churches.
