To the editor:
Your October issue has many articles, including Bishop Clark’s column, on respect for life, but not a single one mentions torture and war in a month when both of them are prominent in the news. Your neglect of the injustices and inhumanity of war and torture is striking and happens month after month. This neglect goes against the basic teachings of Jesus and is also an implicit endorsement of one political party over another.
