The junior-high youth group of Blessed Trinity at St. Margaret Mary has begun its 10th-annual coat drive for the needy.
The drive will run through Nov. 26. Clean, useable winter coats may be dropped off before or after any Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1110 Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin. Coats also may be left at the Apalachin Library, 719 Main St.; Johnson’s Pools & Spas, 1088 Route 434, Owego; and Figures in Sweeney’s Plaza, Route 434, Apalachin. In addition, a coat drive is being conducted through Oct. 31 by Hornell Intermediate School. Coats may be dropped off at the school, located at 71 Buffalo St. in Hornell, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
