Father McBrien in his columns displays the rare skill of getting to the heart of an issue with an economy of words and faultless logic. His column on the Schiavo case was a case in point.
Msgr. Shannon in his short letter supporting Father McBrien’s excellent column is likewise gifted.
I miss Father McBrien in the weekly issue of the Courier.
