Several organizations with Catholic ties are listed in the 2013-14 Community Wishbook.
The wishbook is a publication of wish lists from more than 200 charities in the Rochester area that need items that can be donated when area residents are downsizing, reorganizing or cleaning out.
Wishbooks will be available at town and branch libraries, Greece Ridge Mall and Marketplace Mall, and free-literature racks throughout the community. A website, www.communitywishbook.com, includes a calendar of special events that are sponsored by the charities; many agencies need volunteers to help plan and run the events.
