Concert will benefit St. Joseph School

Irish-American recording artist Andy Cooney will headline a Dec. 13 concert to benefit St. Joseph School in Auburn. “A Classic Irish Christmas” will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in the auditorium of East Middle School, 191 Franklin St.

Cooney — described by The New York Times as “Irish America’s favorite son” — will be accompanied by Irish musicians Jane Hunt, Ben Powers, Colm Graham and Paddy Higgins. The concert also will feature Irish comedian Noel V. Ginnity and the Niall O’Leary Dance Troupe.
