Catholic Charities of Livingston County’s Connections program is hosting a grand opening sale through Labor Day to show off its new, larger location at 51 Main St. in Mount Morris.
The program, which started in June 2006, collaborates with the Department of Social Services to give work experience to people receiving public assistance. Women in the program make table runners, wall hangings, purses, rice bags, quilts, jewelry and other items.
All proceeds from the retail business go back into the program. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Call 585-612-7605 for details.
