To the editor:
As Christmas approaches the time of the Messiah’s Birth from the Blessed Virgin’s womb let us all repent on the sin of abortion. The loss of life in the world in which John Paul II evangelical, the Gospel of Life and through Holy Scriptures and life of the church which is the Body and Blood of the Eucharist. Let us all take time and reflect on “life” and most of all the Life of the Trinity, the baby Jesus and unborn. Life is to be respected from the moment of conception to natural death.
Through Mary’s yes, the yes of the Holy Virgin at age 16, she brought salvation to us all through the lives of the saints. For do we not all sin and fall short of the cross at Calvary?
Mother Angelica through EWTN offers us hope but we must obey and not just sit and listen to TV. We have to commit ourselves to the 10 commandments of God the Father. We have to search out our hearts like the prodigal children and go to the sacrament of reconcilliation. We have to repent of the grave sin of abortion, the murder of 61 million lives.
Mother Theresa offered hope to the sick and dying in India and it made her a saint. Through her suffering for Jesus, her Bridegroom, she worked tirelessly. She offered hope; we offer hope to ourselves. We have to offer hope to the preborn and unborn and most of all for our neighbor’s woman and babies, and all life that the creator gives us from his power — the Almighty Father God, the lover of souls. Let us pray to the mother of Guadalupe who was with the child Jesus.
