COVID-related headline was disheartening to letter writer

To the editor:
I have a very simple comment on the title given to your August 2020 cover page. It read as follows: “Planning for ‘new normal.’” I find that statement to be very disheartening as it suggests that we will ALWAYS and FOREVER be wearing masks, sanitizing every surface, and social distancing. I would rather have read ‘Temporary New Normal’. It would have given me a little hope for the future.
