Eight parishioners of All Saints in Lansing were part of a 20-member contingent that took part in a two-mile swim for charity across Cayuga Lake on Saturday, Aug. 6.
The swim was done in conjunction with Lansing United Methodist Church. More than $800 was raised for a planned mission trip by the two churches’ youth groups to Johns Island, S.C., in 2006.
Swimmers from All Saints included youths Brendan Barrett, Ryann Cretney, Katie Hranek, Megan Palladino, Rachael Palladino, Daniel Ravas and Jeff Ryan, and adult Lisa Patrican.
