Joan Rosenhauer, Catholic Relief Services’ executive vice president for U.S. operations, will speak at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry in Pittsford on Thursday, May 10, at 7 p.m.
Her presentation will be on "Giving Hope to a World of Need: Catholic Relief Services and the Global Common Good." Rosenhauer will explore the Catholic social teaching that shapes the work of CRS, the official humanitarian relief and development agency of the U.S. Catholic community. She also will offer ideas on how local parish communities can foster hope and promote peace globally. There is no cost for the program.
Catholic Charities of Chemung/Schuyler, 215 E. Church St., Elmira, will host a live simulcast of Rosenhauer’s lecture.
