D.C. marcher responds to writer’s call for consistency

To the editor:

In response to the (February) letter written by Dan Hill inviting “all those attending the (Right to Life) march in Washington D.C., to include others who also have that same right to life” (and referencing) immigrants, inmates and the poor: Dan, “judge not, lest ye be judged.” How can you assume we do not pray for everyone?

Cardinal Sean O’Malley gave a resounding homily during Friday’s Mass at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, mentioning ALL those who deserve LIFE.

Let’s be honest here, the unborn have no voice, the unborn cannot make a decision, the unborn have nowhere to run to. The unborn are the most innocent, vulnerable, defenseless of all and not only deserve the attention we are giving them but also are the “Preeminent Life Issue.”

We will continue to “be consistent in our efforts to pray for all life,” especially for the unborn.
