I was assigned to shoot a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Angels of Mercy, Inc. this past weekend at Christ the King Church in Irondequoit. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if there would be anything interesting to photograph, but when I walked in the place was jumping. The gymnasium was packed with people and the dance floor was crowded with happy couples, most of them seniors, looking as happy and as spry as the day they danced at their proms. I took this photo of Kay Perry and her dance partner Warren Crandell just before leaving, I like the sparkle in Kay’s eye.
