Thinking about becoming a permanent deacon? An information session will be held Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Church’s O’Malley Hall, 32 E. Morris St., Bath.
The gathering will provide an overview of the five-year application and formation process and the time commitment involved, as well as the opportunity to ask questions about the ministry. Eligible applicants are single or married men of strong and active faith who have a demonstrated record of service. They must be between 35 and 62 years old at the time of ordination, in good health, emotionally mature, and stable in professional and personal relationships.
