Deacon David Palma will become temporary pastoral administrator of St. Mary Parish in Rochester July 11, as Pastoral Administrator Anne-Marie Brogan has taken a leave of absence, according to a statement read at Masses July 7 and 8 at St. Mary.
Deacon Palma has been the pastoral administrator of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish and previously was diocesan director of Deacon Personnel. During Deacon Palma’s absence from St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, Father Bob Werth and Father Mickey McGrath, assisting priests at the parish, will serve as copastors, diocesan officials said.
