Each year, on the Sunday before Christmas, volunteers and staff from Rochester’s St. Stanislaus Kostka Church create a stunning backdrop to celebrate the arrival of Christ. Many of the dedicated parishioners have more than 30 years of experience in hoisting up trees, climbing ladders, hanging lights, unloading flowers and carrying bales of hay used in the manger. Thanks to the donations of more than 100 parishioners, this years display includes 8 12-ft. Christmas trees, 55 red and white poinsettias, more than a dozen large wreaths, hundreds of strands of lights and a detailed nativity scene.
