Decries attire seen at Mass

To the editor:

I am writing to you about an issue I see in church. At 80-years-old I realize my outlook is different than today’s.

I find it disrespectful seeing people wear shorts and T-shirts with logos on them. Even carrying Communion dressed like this. Whatever happened to decency? In our Holy church of God.

I am not saying we should go backwards wearing hats, etc. But a set of decent clothes for one hour does not hurt anyone of us. But I am told "the people are at least here." They could have more respect in church.
