DeSales High School slates dinner, auction

Geneva’s DeSales High School will hold its spring dinner dance and silent auction on May 22 at the Scandling Center, on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
 

Social hour begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner starting at 7:15 p.m. Fresh fruit, salad, chicken Marsala with rice pilaf, sauteed vegetables, cheesecake, coffee and tea will be served during the dinner, which costs $25. A vegetarian entree will also be available, as will a cash bar.
 

At 8 p.m. bidding begins on the items in the silent auction, which includes gift certificates to local businesses. While the bidding is taking place, a live band -The Canal Street Strutters – will be playing for those wishing to dance. Admission to the auction only is $5.
 

The winner of the school’s $10,000 raffle will also be drawn at the event. Tickets for the raffle are $50, and may be purchased by calling the school office at 315/789-5111.
 

To make dinner reservations, donate items for the auction or purchase an ad for the auction booklet, contact John Norvell at DeSales High School at 315/789-5111, ext. 231. Dinner reservations may also be made through the DeSales High School Web site, www.desaleshs.org.
