GENEVA — DeSales High School, 90 Pulteney St., will offer summer-school programs for students in first through 12th grades.
“Camp Quest” will be offered to students entering first through fourth grades in the fall. The first-grade program, “Nursery Rhymes,” will be held July 6-9. The second-grade program, “Bugs,” will be held July 12-15. “Fairy Tales,” the third-grade program, will be held July 19-22. The fourth-grade program, “Rainforests,” will be held July 26-29. All classes will be taught in DeSales’ computer lab from 9-11:30 a.m. each day. The cost is $75 per student.
Students entering sixth through 12th grades in the fall can take a July 5-Aug. 11 Web site design class at DeSales from 12:30-2:30 p.m. The cost is $150 per student, and the class size will be capped at 15 participants.
Grade 7 ELA and math programs will be offered to students entering eighth grade or to students entering seventh grade who want an enrichment program. Grade 8 ELA and math programs will be offered for eighth-graders needing summer school in order to enter high school, students who passed eighth grade English and math but did not attain a 3 or 4 on their state exam, or students entering eighth grade who want an enrichment program. There will be a textbook deposit of $50, which is refundable. The cost per student is $150 for one course and $275 for two courses.
