Sister Elaine Poitras, CSC, has been named the new superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Rochester. She will begin serving in her new position July 25, according to the diocese.
Sister Poitras has been serving as the associate superintendent of schools for the Diocese of Manchester, N.H., since 2001. She also has served in leadership positions for Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston and the Diocese of Norwich, Conn.
