Diocese of Rochester’s recognition Mass for married couples postponed

The May 17 Marriage Recognition Mass with Bishop Salvatore R. Matano has been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With this postponement, the Catholic Courier has decided to publish its annual listing of couples celebrating 25, 50, or 50-plus years of marriages concurrent with the new date of the diocesan Mass.

Couples can continue to submit anniversary announcements by sending an email with “Wedding Anniversary” in the subject line to Weddings@CatholicCourier.com or by mailing information to Wedding Anniversaries, Catholic Courier, PO Box 24379, Rochester, NY 14624. Please include the full names of husband and wife; the date of the wedding; the church and city where married; and a telephone number should questions arise.

Continuous-tone (unscreened) wedding photos may be submitted for possible publication. For digital submissions, please send image files of at least 1 MB in size.
