The Diocese of Rochester is offering three workshops in June on the new Roman Missal.
The workshops, titled "And With Your Spirit: Receiving the Roman Missal Third Edition," are for parish staffs, ministry leaders and any other interested people. They will be facilitated by Father Robert J. Kennedy and will focus on the following questions:
- How did we come to have a new translation of the Roman Missal?
- What changes will there be?
- What are the implications for how we celebrate the Eucharist and other sacraments?
- How can we help people to receive the new missal easily and well?
Dates and locations of the workshops are:
- Monday, June 6: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Church of the Assumption, 20 East Ave., Fairport, Room 5-6, lower level of the church.
- Tuesday, June 14: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Our Lady of Peace at St. Francis deSales Parish Center, 130 Exchange St.,Geneva.
- Wednesday, June 22: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Rev. Paul McCabe Parish Center, 1100 W. First St., Elmira.
