The public is invited to attend a Divine Mercy Novena in Elmira beginning Good Friday, April 6, and running through Saturday, April 14. It will take place at St. Casimir Church, 1000 Davis St.
The novena will begin daily at 7 p.m. It will consist of exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, excerpts from St. Faustina’s diary, daily novena prayers, song, Benediction and veneration of the cross. In addition, confession will be held at St. Casimir on April 14 from 3 to 3:45 p.m. and 6 to 6:45 p.m. The Divine Mercy observance will end with a closing service at St. Casimir on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 15, beginning at 3 p.m. that will include veneration of the cross.
