Father John Catoir’s column in the February 2012 Catholic Courier is total right-wing politics, straight from Fox News.
Fact is Social Security is not broke; it does need a few adjustments.
Medicare and Medicaid can be paid for by stopping two 10-year wars. Iraq is stopped. Trillions of dollars for war, he doesn’t mention this.
He ignores the position of our Bishop and the Pope.
Priests should not be political.
