To the editor:
In this diocese church after church is closing and a generation of Roman Catholics may be losing their faith. Many of the churches that are closing were built by the faithful to practice their faith and to pass it down to the next generation. These churches were built for praise, honor and worship. Christian communities were built and flourished. There was the Mass, adoration, rosary groups, prayer groups, Bible groups and a sense of belonging. Where are all the people going after these churches close? Please do not get fed up and please join a new parish. Remember Jesus in the Eucharist is ever present in all Roman Catholic churches. Follow Jesus and that is where your heart and soul will be fed.
