Sister of Mercy Janet Korn, social-justice awareness coordinator for diocesan Catholic Charities, will give a presentation titled “Welcoming the Stranger: Perspectives on Immigration” at St. John School in Clyde at 6 p.m. Oct. 8.
Sister Korn will be the second speaker to give a presentation at the school as part of this year’s Family Education Program, which is held each month through April and is sponsored by St. John Parish in Clyde and St. Patrick Parish in Savannah.
