Catholic school educators, students and parents turned out for a May 28 rally outside the Irondequoit office of New York State Assemblyman Joseph P. Morelle. Participants held signs and chanted their support for the Parental Choice in Education Act, urging Assemblyman Morelle to support it. A group of educators also joined Diocesan Schools Superintendent Anthony S. Cook III in delivering a letter of appeal to the office and speaking to senior staff members.
