Opportunities for eucharistic adoration are available at two Southern Tier chapels.
In Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, the adoration chapel is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at 1012 Davis St., near St. Casimir Church. Those wishing to pray at the chapel can stop by for a short stay, and adorers also are asked to sign up for a regular day and hour so that the Blessed Sacrament is never left alone. Call 607-734-8691 for more information.
In Our Lady of the Valley Parish, the adoration chapel is located at 27 Erie Ave., Hornell, in the former St. Ann School and close to St. Ann Church. The chapel has openings at this time for days and times that need to be filled on a regular basis. For further details on covering those slots, call 607-324-1424.
The chapel at Most Holy Name of Jesus opened in 1992, and the facility at Our Lady of the Valley was founded in 2001. Currently, they are the only two chapels in the Southern Tier that were designed specifically for eucharistic adoration.
