The Advent season has just begun, and the newly launched Catholic Courier interactive Advent Calendar is a great way of preparing for Jesus’ birth as part of your family’s Christmas traditions.
The 2019 Advent calendar, which began Dec. 1, features 25 windows hiding multimedia “treats.” Visitors can unlock a new digital treat each day through Dec. 25.
Several days feature students and faculty from area Catholic schools. Other surprises include cooking videos, Scripture readings, Advent reflections and other seasonal activities happening around the diocese. New this year will be a Dec. 18 video announcing the winners of the Courier’s coloring contest. The contest’s entry period closed Nov. 27.
Visitors to the Courier website also can vote for the best-colored photo in each age category until Dec. 13.
