The January-February issue of the Courier was a blockbuster one. The editors and staff of writers gave us an interesting and well done issue with stories for readers young and old. The main story was the installation of Bishop Salvatore Matano as our diocese’s ninth bishop. He replaces Bishop Matthew Clark who served us from 1979 until 2012. Throughout the issue there were many best wishes from Staffs and Parishioners in the diocese of Rochester welcoming the new bishop. I particularly enjoyed reading the 52-page keepsake booklet inside the Courier about our new bishop. We welcome you, Bishop Salvatore Matano. May God bless you and bestow upon you many happy and fruitful years serving us in Rochester.
