Church of the Resurrection, 63 Mason Road, Fairport, will open its new “Socrates Cafe,” a venue to meet and ponder life’s universal questions, on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 7 to 8 p.m.
The discussions are designed to lead participants to appreciate universal understandings and will serve as a platform to express ideas, share perspectives and possibly challenge conventional truth.
Five other sessions are planned for the same time and location and will be held on Oct. 3, Oct. 19, Nov. 7, Nov. 16 and Dec. 5. Each meeting will focus on different key universal themes, and is free and open to the public.
