Fairport concert will benefit House of Mercy

A free concert in Fairport aims to raise awareness and tax-deductible donations for the House of Mercy, a homeless shelter in Rochester.

The Gazebo Ramble concert will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. July 20 at the Fairport gazebo in Kennelly Park. The concert will feature the American Moondogs, The Jane Mutiny, The Jesus Rays and Elmer Cobb Band and special guests.

Wristbands will be sold for $6 each or $25/family and will entitle the wearers to pizza from TK’s Pizzeria. Moonlight Creamery will donate part of its proceeds from the days’ wristband wearer sales, and Donnelly’s Public House has made a donation as well.
