Each July more than two dozen families travel to Italy Valley in Middlesex, Yates County, for Family Camp, which has been held at Camp Koinonia since the early 1980s. At Family Camp, adults, teens and children of all ages enjoy a week of traditional camp activities like swimming, crafts and outdoor games interspersed with regular Masses, prayer services and faith sharing. Family Camp typically runs for three weeks, but this year organizers had to add a fourth week to accommodate all the families clamoring to attend.
